all these great steps in EMS and yet I've come across providers who have no respect for these forms of progress. </></>"why give them morphine, they can take the pain for the 6min it takes to get to the ED"</></>"by the time we get the CPAP set up we can get at the ED"</></>"I wouldn't use an IO, just spend the TIME it took to find an IV"</></>bad attitude, bad CQI, bad training, etc I think these are bigger issues then most things in ems.

Love it. I agree with the post. About 3 months ago, we got a new tool that really helps with the report writing- our LifePak now has a Bluetooth connection that sends vitals, the strips, and all events into the report computer. Saves time when writing the report.

I really enjoy reading your blog. I am in medic school right now and it's cool to read about all things I'll be doing one day.

CPAP is amazing. I am thrilled beyond belief that it can now be applied in the field...I've seen dozens of patients turned around with it, and it makes a huge difference that you can do that. Love it.
