Amen to reducing light and sirens to the hospital. Its time people were given the ability to treat peoples presenting problem, reduce their suffering and provide a safe, smooth ride to the appropriate facility. I know what a buzz it is to charge up to the hospital witha serious case but I sure don't miss being thrown around like a rag doll in the back. I must be getting old. It sure makes me appreciate the older medics, who used to try and temper my enthusiasm. Take care, Pete.

Glad to see you back too. I enjoyed the book, but I like your more off the cuff personal posts a lot.

Don't forget the dramatic scene where the patient scrawls a childish "Thnk U" on a piece of paper, while freshly cric'd, and a close-up of a single tear running down the medic's cheek breaks out.

Peter: Life sure is different from TV, isn't it? I have to always explain that the majority of our calls are NOT helicopter crashes.

I'm glad to see you're back posting. I missed reading your stuff.
